Att ta vara på små tygbitar!

Jag har nu en tid haft behov av att försöka göra något av alla små bitar tyg som jag skär eller klipper bort när jag syr väskor, necessärer och täcken. Högen med små tygbitar har en tendens att bli ganska stor och här har jag sytt ett litet barntäcke av små triangelbitar som jag fått över när jag sydde ett annat barntäcke med stjärnor. Stjärnspetsarna är endast 3,1 cm stora, vilket innebär att de kvadrater som jag sytt av trianglar var 4,3 cm stora innan jag sydde ihop dem till stjärnor. Det är förunderligt vad det kan bli av så små tygbitar.

I have for quite some time had the urge to take care of all my small cut-away pieces from other projects, and from the small half-quare triangles of the size of aproximately 1,5 inch I managed to make a baby quilt. It is Amazing how many small pieces you just put aside and when you notice that they can actually become a small quilt, you can try to take care of them as well. And still I have many boxes left with small cut-off pieces. Sometimes I give them away to schools for their craft teachers to make something of these pieces with the children. I know, that this is much appreaciated.
