Syfestivalen Nästa!

Den 23 - 25 oktober är det Syfestival på Älvsjömässan. Skälet till att jag inte skrivit något på min blog under så pass lång tid är, att jag varit fullt engagerad i att förbereda syfestivalen. Rikstäckets årsmöte blev ju också en trevlig tillställning i början av oktober, och efter den så har jag ägnat mig åt att uppdatera ett av mina mönster, som jag och min vän Kristina, designade 2003. Det har ju hänt en del på tillbehörsmarknaden, så mönstret behövde uppdateras. Jag har dessutom gjort om mönstret så att man får mönster till necessären i två storlekar, så då kan man ju välja om man vill sy en större eller mindre. Här nedan kommer bilder på necessären i de två storlekar som jag sytt upp den i.

I have not been so busy lately with writing on my blog. The reason is that I am preparing myself for participating in the upcoming Sewing Event, Syfestivalen, at the Stockholm International Fair, in Älvsjö, during October 23 - 25, 2015. There are so many things to organize before such an event, and I have been very busy with preparing and sorting the fabrics that I am going to display during this event. I have also been woking on one of my patterns, originally designed 2003. But there has been a great development in different sewing supplies and interfacing materials, so the pattern had to be rewritten, presenting the interfacing I use now in my purses and bags. I have also made the design in two sizes, a bigger one and a medium sized one. Below you will find the pictures of the two purses I made recently with fabrics from Quilt Gate and Robert Kaufman Fabrics. Hopefully you will enjoy the design.
